Why Should I Switch to the Budget Payment Plan?
No more wondering or guessing what your electric bill will be – no surprises.
- It’s easier to plan monthly expenses when you know your average budget payment amount.
- If you will be out of town when your electric bill is due, you will know the amount to pay in advance.
- No large fluctuations between winter and summer electric bills.
- No big “catch-up month” each year.
Who qualifies for the Budget Payment Plan?
- Only SVEC residential accounts can be billed on the Budget Payment Plan.
- An account must be current, with no past due balance before it can be placed on this plan.
Many SVEC customers find it convenient to make equal payments throughout the year rather than pay higher bills at one time - usually winter - and lower bills at other times. The Budget Payment Plan provides customers with an equal bill each month. The amount of the monthly bill is based upon the customer’s use during the previous 12 months. If rates must be changed during the year, the budget amount will be adjusted to reflect the change. To apply for the Budget Payment Plan, complete the enrollment form below and return to Surprise Valley Electrification Corp. with your next payment. If you are already on a Budget Payment Plan, you do not need to enroll again to remain on it.
