Up to 75% energy savings can be obtained by replacing incandescent bulbs with compact fluorescent lamps (see ENERGY CONSERVATION). A limited supply of CFL’s are available to our members at no charge.

Surge Protection Devices
Every day, destructive electrical spikes and surges – caused by lightning or industrial and construction accidents involving utility poles – pass through the electrical lines and into your home. Once inside, these high-voltage spikes can cause damage to electronics found in many household products like home entertainment centers, PCs, garage door openers, microwave ovens, and more. Anything you own with a microchip is susceptible to damage.
Three Phase Voltage Monitor and Motor Protector
This device is recommended for protection of irrigation pump motors and panels.
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Devices
Two devices available for sale to our members. The BCPRO600 is for PC’s and home office equipment. The HT850 is designed for home entertainment equipment and may also be used for PC’s.
Pest-A-Cator
This rodent and pest control device uses the electrical wiring in your walls to drive pests out. The Pest-A-Cator alters the magnetic field around the electrical wiring creating an unacceptable environment for rodents. One unit takes care of an average home (up to 2000 sq. ft.).
